At HF Productions, we strive to create events around the world that offer filmmakers a range of enriching opportunities: live screenings of their films in front of international audiences, Q&As and round tables, promotion, distribution and marketing services to help consolidate their careers. Our events are unlike traditional film festival events – we are hands-on and prioritize the individual. We create cozy and welcoming environments – both filmmakers and cinephiles can come together for a shared appreciation of the potential of cinema. From the very experienced and esteemed, to the young and emerging, we work to champion people’s stories and find ways to increase their impact.

Sustainability is more than just a buzzword for us. Our team has been passionate about social impact and making a difference (on even the smallest of scales) from before the inception of the company. Founder and CEO Henrik Friis spent his university years documenting the war against ISIS alongside Kurdish forces and the Free Burma Rangers. Nowadays, our company supports documentary projects and SDG-related film events across the world. We have been commissioned by the United Nations to organize SDG events, and apply for our own events to be approved as SDG Development Platform Initiatives. We recognize the unique opportunity we have to use these platforms for good, and to showcase stories that can have a major impact on people across the world.

HF Productions is a truly global company. We operate out of 4 countries, our team includes over 8 nationalities, and we run events in more than 15 countries. We are headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, a city known for its international population and its support for sustainability.
